The U3A is world wide voluntary society providing a wide variety of activities for those over 55.  This age range is often designated "The Third Age" and many people in this age bracket wish to develop new skills, have new interests and continue to meet people with similar wishes. Also the world is a very changing place and we help members to adapt to all these changes.
We have many interest groups, social groups, learning groups, activities and free technology support for your computers and cell phones. Our annual fee is only $10 and the majority of our groups are free. Our quarterly meetings with popular speakers, brunch, free raffles etc. are entertaining and held at held at the H.N. Function Centre and subsidised by the committee.

Our 300 members are involved in over 30 groups which range from Art Appreciation to Philosophy, Technology, Cell phones, Computing, cycling, cinema visits, music, gardening, scrabble, drama and lunch groups etc.. All " Activities" are listed on the heading page called "Groups"
